There are major changes coming to part D in 2025. Your MAXIMUM prescription spend for plan year 2026 will now be $2100.00. An increase of $100 over 2025 but significantly lower than the $8000 maximum of 2024. Additionally, you may be able to spread the high costs of your prescriptions over the entire year. Please contact us to discuss your situation and how these changes may affect you.
My expectation is that many other aspects of your coverage may also change, so insurance companies can recoup some of the expected costs they will certainly incur. This may include a higher deductible for your plan. Higher co-pays or co-insurance for your prescriptions. For those receiving part D coverage through their Advantage Plan some of the supplemental benefits you’ve grown accustomed to may be reduced or eliminated. It’s too early to know or worry about now.
Consequently, this year, reviewing your “ANOC” Annual Notice of Change will be more important than ever. We will be able to share new 2026 plan designs on October 1st and discuss every aspect of your coverage at that time.
I am recommending scheduling a time to review your personal situation. Beginning October 15th you can change your plan for 2026, if it make sense for YOU! Contact us today!
